Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy scalable software systems used across Walmart’s global platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and data engineering.
Work on real-world engineering problems involving AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, and data platforms.
Participate in agile development processes, code reviews, and innovation sprints.
Build and maintain software solutions that enhance customer and associate experiences.
Contribute to domains such as supply chain, retail systems, finance, logistics, and mobile applications.
Leverage modern technologies including Java, Hadoop, Cassandra, ERP systems, machine learning, and open-source frameworks.
Key Skills
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Familiarity with development tools and platforms such as GitHub, Copilot, Qodo Merge, and DX AI Chat.
Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
Curiosity, ownership mindset, and passion for solving large-scale problems.
Willingness to learn and adapt to Walmart’s technology ecosystem.
Eligibility Criteria
Final-year students (Class of 2026) pursuing Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
No prior work experience required (Graduate Intern role).
Indian nationals currently enrolled in US universities.
Strong academic foundation and interest in large-scale software systems.
