Role Descriptions

GenC (Graduate Engineer)

• Work on software development tasks, test cases, debugging, and deployment.

• Participate in Agile development and SDLC activities.

• Collaborate with project teams to deliver cost-effective and quality solutions.

• Create documentation and contribute to design processes.

• Upskill continuously to adapt to new technologies.

GenC Next

• Focused on candidates with strong full-stack development skills and advanced coding capabilities.

• Must have industry-accredited certification in one or more of the following:
  Java, Python, .NET Core, HTML/CSS/JS, SQL, Spring Boot, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Data Structures, OOPS, REST APIs, etc.

GenC Pro

• Suited for candidates proficient in enterprise platforms and niche technologies such as:
  Cybersecurity, Salesforce, Oracle, Mulesoft, SAP ABAP/Basis, ServiceNow, Pega.

• Requires certification or experience in specific technology areas.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education:

  • B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech (2025 pass-outs only)

  • Streams like Leather, Food, and Fashion Technology are not eligible

• Academic Performance:

  • Minimum 60% in 10th, 12th/Diploma, UG, and PG

  • No standing arrears at the time of joining

• Nationality: Indian nationals/OCIs currently residing in India

• Location Flexibility: Must be willing to work at any assigned Cognizant location and shift

Required Documents

• For Registration:

  • Updated resume with a recent passport-size photo

  • Industry-accredited certificates (mandatory if applying for GenC Next/Pro)

• For Interview:

  • College ID, all marksheets, degree certificates (UG/PG), etc.

• For Onboarding:

  • PAN Card (mandatory)

  • Voter ID / Passport (citizenship verification)
